Working with Playground Entertainment on an extremely tight turnaround we were excited to put together this key VFX sequence in the BBC's Christmas show 'Little Women',
Filmed in a parking lot in Ireland, our aim was to create a sense of drama and trepidation that surrounds young Amy as she falls through the ice while skating.
The Dupe artists led by Dan Newlands delivered 40 shots in under 4 weeks with work including matte-painting to imitate a New England skyline, CG match-moved ice skates and adding cracks, mottled patches and floating chunks of ice to the danger area around where Amy falls in.
